I’m looking to start doing some editing of my own piano playing. I recently bought a Casio that has the capability to be hooked up to my PC and was looking for a music editing program to use for some of the basics like recording and stuff like that. If anyone can suggest a good program that I can get, that would be great. Price is really not a factor here, so whatever works best.

Is there any software online for free or not too ‘spendy’ cost, that lets you place notes onto the staff and have it play it back to you?
like, if i was to want to hear a single part of a song, the alto part, and i put the notes of the alto line on the staff, it would play only that.
please tell me any names of any programs that you know of asap
